Why? Not political (I hope)

#1 Post by BackInTex » Fri Oct 07, 2022 2:43 pm

Why are othewise intellegent people still owning Pit Bulls, especially when they have small children.

This makes me sick to my stomach. I have a 4 year-old grandaughter and a 3 month-old grandaughter at the same house. They have a dog, an Australian Shepherd. Australian Shepherds are bred to be caretakers. If they had a Pit Bull, a breed bred to attack and kill, I would file for custody if they didn't get rid of it.

Dogs that fatally mauled Tennessee toddlers, injured mom were never violent, friend says
The family's pit bulls killed Lilly Jane Bennard, 2, and her little brother, 5-month-old Hollace Dean Bennard
The little 5 year-old looks strikingly like my 4 year-old granddaughter.

My younger granddaughter Brittany's father gave her and her sister, Leanna, each a pit bull puppy when they were four or five. I convinced Heather, my daughter, to give them away.

Please link a credible source which shows the "news" of a pit bull which was raised properly in a loving home that attacked anyone. I have never seen such a story, or even heard such an anecdote.

The one I linked to is not credible enough for you? Why?
