MatiasMom signed up to host a Super Bowl party, and sure enough, came down with Covid. She wanted to quarantine through the weekend, and sure enough, Matias came down with it too, so quarantine will probably last through the following weekend. Both are vaccinated, and neither will require hospitalization.
Now our Super Bowl party is in the hands of a woman who could not care less about football, her husband, who follows only the Broncos, his sister, who knows nothing about football and also could not care less, and the sister's husband,who cares about football only as far as it makes it possible for him to make snarky comments about the NFL. He reads up on the Broncos and the Steelers so he can send barbs in our direction. SteelersFan won't go -- probably the wisest course, but I want to spend time with the sister, so I'll be there.
The Puppy Bowl may win the ratings battle at that house . . .
