Another "You can't make this s*$t up" entry
I had a message this morning from a defendant due in court at 8:15 a.m. Message came in at 7:58 a.m. "My name is ---, I was diagnosed with COVID last week, can't make court, trying to find a lawyer, I'm innocent and can't go to jail on this case.." Seriously, at least a paragraph about how innocent she is and how I need to help her prove it. The FB photo attached, I kid you not, is her. Pointing a gun. Directly at the camera, with her two children in the background. Her charges? Two felony criminal endangerment of a minor.

Today's fresh hell, taken from the Affidavit:
"The Defendant was transported to YCDF, where he was advised of his rights per Miranda. The Defendant stated he understood his rights and agree to speak with Officer Crowe. The Defendant stated that he saw the running vehicle and he had to take a “shit” really bad, so he stole the vehicle."
