Bored PTB?
Is there a reason the Bored crashes around 11 on Friday sometimes?
We were having a rousing game and then crash!
It has happened before around the same time.
Thanks ever so much!

I know there have been times late at night when I've been here where the Bored has been slow to nonworking.

Isn't it likely the rousing game traffic overwhelms it?christie1111 wrote:Is there a reason the Bored crashes around 11 on Friday sometimes?

I don't think there were more than 8 or 9 of us playing including the Meister.
I know we've had more online than that before without any problems. I'm thinking of gus chases, for example.
It doesn't happen every time, but I know this is the 2nd time it's happened when I've been playing and it is a slight source of aggravation.

I am going to post each question in its own thread, next week, given that the PTB have a long time ago graciously granted FNGD its own forum. (Thusly not interfering with the visual flow of the main forum).
The hypothesis is that the bb program might have difficulty in dealing with multiple near-simultaneous posts to moderately long threads. Crappy hypothesis, but its what I can think of.

It's certainly worth a try. Sorry we didn't get to finish the game last night. Great questions, as usual.
