Last night around 3 we had a thunderstorm roll in. I awoke and couldn't see ANYTHING. Matte pitch black. Forgetting that our drapes are blackout I thought I had gone blind. I couldn't see any ambient light nothing.
So I thought do I wake Jeff up? Will we have to delay our reno? Do we call 911?
Then hearing our neighbors' generator and seeing a slight flicker I asked him did the power go out? Well duh, yeah, he had waited to go pee since you couldn't see anything and I said "oh good. I really thought I'd gone blind..."
I thanked God, we peed, I plugged my phone back in, went back to sleep. Merv was hiding in the dresser.

I hate that no seeing thing.
