I may be incommunicado for a bit..
Cleaning out old files, I stumbled upon an old journal/holographic will that is long past its scan and destroy date. Attempted to find a next-of-kin without any luck, but this guy was a character. An old prospector, apparently he found 'the mother lode' and made his way from the site back to Billings to meet up with his partner. Told his partner he'd draw a map and tell him about it 'tomorrow,' then died of heart failure during the night. I'm tempted to go adventuring. Fascinating reading.

This sounds like a prelude to a storyline on Big Sky.tlynn78 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 11:08 amCleaning out old files, I stumbled upon an old journal/holographic will that is long past its scan and destroy date. We'd have a written contract and then go on Peoples Court. No problem. We'll figure out who sues whom and be rich and famous.
Well, then

If I have seen it once, I have seen it a thousand times. Honor among thieves only carries you so far when the actual gold shows up.
BTW, what is your planned route out of the mountains? Just to make sure you are safe and all that.

Not to put a downer on one of the most fun threads I have been involved in for awhile, but I have been thinking about how much SilverCamaro would have enjoyed it. She would have loved to join you gals in the mountains and I suspect that she would have been the one coming down with the gold. LOL.

Re: I may be incommunicado for a bit..
I have a genuine Cowboy hat that I could wear-although, I prefer to wear my 10 dollar Bush hat.
I may not be an actual hard-boiled, ring-tailed roarer from the back side of the mountain, but I can at least look like one.
I also plan to stretch the yarn just a little bit in future years and refer to the companions that I stol-er, I mean recovered the fortune from as "Young Ladies." It just works better that way for the grandkiddies.
