We are focusing our prayers for you for as long as you need them.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Trish,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. You and James can get through this.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and James. You are a good mom. One of the scary things I've found out about mothering a teenage boy is that there are things you just can't see no matter how hard you look. Whatever it is, it's not your fault.

Love,
Catfish

I'm so sorry. Of course I'm curious, but I'm sorry. I am glad to read no one was physically hurt, including James. Best of luck with getting a ruling that gets him something that will help him instead of hurt him. Vibes are now for that.

And to think I think I've got troubles; good grief.

No, you did the best you could. That's all we can do. Just be there for him and let him know that you're there so that he knows he will always have someone to listen. Things will work out.

C.R.A.P

I am so sorry to hear of this situation. It is SO easy to reach a conclusion as a young teen boy about what one ought to be doing, and sometimes be so wrong.

You have worked hard enough that James' inner gyroscope will allow him to get back to even, and away from whatever badness is around, I believe and will vibe and pray.
