Attention Jamboree Players!

#1 Post by Vandal » Mon Jun 21, 2021 8:55 pm

I very much enjoyed being your Jamboree 2021 host and now would like your feedback. I am considering hosting a slightly scaled down version next time so I need to eliminate some of the less popular challenges. Please let me know which ones you love and which ones I should eliminate (for any reason). Here are the challenges:

Historical
Matinee
TEN!
Timeline
Bandstand
Dead or Alive
Take me out to the ball game
Wheelhouse
BookWorms
Decades
Tooned In
PrimeTime

Please choose your four favorites and two least favorites (if you are so inclined). Jamboree 2022 and I thank you for your feedback.

I'd just prefer a little less emphasis on pop culture. Definitely not among my strengths. --Bob

My four favorites would be Historical, Tooned In, BookWorms, and Decades. My least favorites would be Take Me Out to the Ballgame and Matinee. However they are all good and I always learn something from each of them.

You should do what you want. Everybody is going to say they don't like the categories they aren't good at it. The real test of a winner is knowing it all. I wouldn't change a thing.

Please let me know which ones you love and which ones I should eliminate (for any reason). Here are the challenges:

Historical
Matinee
TEN! (Even if it's not as great as Nelly's version of TEN!)
Timeline (Because apparently my date fetish makes me pretty decent at these kind of games)
Bandstand (The music should never die)
Dead or Alive
Take me out to the ball game (I already suspect this is on most people's ax list because too many people on this Bored don't have their knowledge priorities in line...)
Wheelhouse
BookWorms (Get rid of this shit! No offense, of course....)
Decades
Tooned In
PrimeTime (A 50/50 with Matinee, but I think I'm slightly more out of touch with TV... plus, more of the questions seem to be skewed to the current century)

Please choose your four favorites and two least favorites (if you are so inclined). Jamboree 2022 and I thank you for your feedback.

I do terrible in PrimeTime, but what the heck -- an English major, I got ONE of the last historical bookworms right. I can be terrible in any category.

I'm with Frank -- save them all.

Be sure to keep Ballgame because that way LB can finish in the Top 12.
