Speaking of advertising.

Last week I was asked to watch a potential TV pilot and review it.
Emma and I watched the show on Tuesday. The show itself was called "The Rocky LaPorte" show and it seemed really dated and cliche.

After I started watching the show, I realized that they really didn't want me to rate the show, they wanted me to rate commercials. Emma and I figured out the commercial that they specifically wanted feedback on was for Ziploc vacuum sealing bags. The commercial was roughly done and animated on a computer, rather than having live actors.

Anyway, when I talked to the company that sent me the DVD, they asked four questions about the show and I spent 1/2 hour talking about the Ziploc bag commerical.

You should have told them that you fast forwarded through the commercials. :twisted:

If they disabled that feature--which I bet they did--I'd still have refused to waste my time rewarding their deception.

They disabled the feature.

They were kind enough to sent me a business reply postage paid envelope to mail back the DVD. I haven't decided yet what heavy items I will be placing in the envelope.
