I admit it. It was my fault.

#1 Post by kroxquo » Tue Dec 29, 2020 11:11 am

I just bought a new calendar for 2021 to display in our kitchen. I was going to hang it on the hook behind the 2020 calendar until the end of the month but Mrs. Krox stopped me and said, "Hanging a new calendar before the new year is bad luck." I distinctly remember that I did this at the end of 2019, so I can only conclude that 2020 was all my fault. I am most dreadfully embarrassed.

That's just great. That's just great. Sorry won't cut it, mister. I'll be filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of, um, the class there. The class.

And it will include punitive damages for me having to do virtual kindergarten! I gotchur zoom rightchere.
Well, then

Just, wow, man. I can't even. Next you'll be telling us you didn't eat any black-eyed peas on New Year's Day. Spilling the beans, as it were...

My wife just broke a mirror in our basement.

Sorry, 2021.

I know that Mrs. Krox already has both the Southern traditional black-eyed peas and the Pennsylvania pork & sauerkraut already purchased and ready to be cooked on New Year's Day.

Well at least she is doing all she can to counteract your heathenish ways.
