Hey guys,
So, as someone interested in keeping an archive of Millionaire's past, there are a few contestants that I can vaguely remember from that awkward gap in between when syndie Millionaire began and what Bored has archived (Seasons 1-5, I believe). There are 4 I'm particularly interested in as far as info is concerned. First, the three elusive members of Meredith's 218/225k drop club:
- Bob Edgeworth
- Rod Martin
- Ava Johnson
All those contestants bombed out at $500k, and I was curious to know if there's anyone who remembers the questions asked or if there are any archives of those contestants that were once thought to be lost. Even the Wiki doesn't have anything on them... hell the only thing we do have is Bob's question and the two answers the 50:50 left:
The Ireng River in Guyana borders what other South American country?
A - Brazil
B - Suriname
Don't know what C or D was (if I was writing the question, Venezuela would've definitely been there, maybe French Guiana or Colombia for the other one). I'd be willing to bet you could make a million dollar question by just swapping Brazil as part of the question and Guyana as the answer - that one would be a lot nastier.
Moving on, Rod Martin and Ava Johnson are complete ghost towns. The only info I could find on them is their existence. That's it, and I'm just wondering if anyone here has any memory of those contestants and their runs/questions. Because I barely remember those names at all/ Unfortunately, I was, like, 8-10 years old when their shows would've aired. I barely remember much from those days, and I was probably too young to understand the significance of those runs.
But there is one last contestant I'm super interested in that even 10 year old me (at the time) remembers watching - Michelle Glover. I distinctly remember her during those early syndie days. She walked away with $300, becoming the lowest ever non-llama winner in the show's history. Even the Harrison llamas won more money than she did with the $1K comp. And I distinctly remember watching this poor person just struggle her way through. And I've seen transcripts of her run as well, the wiki and Bored have her run documented. But what I really wanna see is a video. Like, this is my Millionaire white whale - a tape or any sort of footage of her run. I've talked to people in the the tape trading space who claim to have this run, so I at least can say that this maybe exists, but I'm wondering if anyone here has footage of this run as well. I'm pretty damn surprised that video of this run as never surfaced since it anywhere on the Internet, especially considering how noteworthy of a run this is. If anyone has any leads or the video itself, I would really appreciate a solid on this one.

Hi! I missed your first post a few months back, so I'll offer you a belated welcome aBored!
I remember Michelle Glover (though I wouldn't have known her name), but I'm afraid I can't help with any of your asks. --Bob
