In the last game of a covid-shortened season, things went well for our team-the West Central Area-Ashby Knights.
The coaches made sure that every senior got to carry the ball.
Littlest Spock's carry was on a 2-point conversion and he made it in. Pretty good senior moment for a lineman. He is in the first picture of the linked story
The radio station covering the game also named him as "player of the game" which is very unusual for a lineman. The announcer said he was honoring his body of work for the year and in other years as well-plus he was laughing about how high he jumped during celebrations for the 2-point score.
>>>>"which set up a two-point conversion opportunity for lineman Shane Wrolson. Wrolson pounded the ball up the middle before falling into the end zone. It was a moment of celebration for the Knights as the senior got his spotlight."<<<
The only time I teared up during the season was on parent's night when they talked about how long he had been part of the program. He taped games and was a manager from 6th grade on.
