Not with a bang, but with a whimper
I was hoping the election would be a massive repudiation of Trump's and his allies' fascist agenda. Unfortunately, the results show that there are almost as many supporters of the Mad King Donald as there are for Sleepy Joe Biden. I simply can't understand how so many people have embraced a man who is so much is disregard of the principles that have guided this country for almost 250 years. The history of the Third Reich doesn't seem to apply here.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
