Recently, in one of the worst cases of mispronunciation since Uzbeki-beki-stan-stan, Georgia Senator David Perdue stumbled repeated over how to pronounce Kamala Harris's name at a Trump rally (but he says he doesn't mean anything by it).
Maybe he needs to learn about what happens when Georgians mispronounce someone's non-WASP name, as the Georgia Bulldogs football radio crew discovered a few years ago:
