For the girls of the bored!

#1 Post by PlacentiaSoccerMom » Mon Apr 28, 2008 4:35 pm

Someone just sent this to me. Not sure if anyone can use this product, but it might be a great Mother's Day gift, graduation, stocking stuffers.. Have a great day! Feel free to pass along!

This makeup company Eyes, Lips, Face (ELF) has just
been bought out by Nordstrom's. Nordstrom's is repackaging everything with their label, so ELF is selling everything on their website for $1.00! It's
fabulous!

Use the promotional code "ECTAPDY" for free shipping or use the code
"Carolina" which will give you 50% off orders up to $15.00.

You can only use 1 Promotional code.

The lip plumpers are a really good deal. Those babies are usually pretty expensive at Sephora.

ELF makeup is alway $1. It is of the Wet and Wild quality. There was an email circulating a few years ago about ELF and Bloomngdales that is the same as the Nordstrom one.

I feel like a huge sucker!

Snopes has an entry about E.L.F. Nordstrom didn't buy the company.

Great marketing tool and sure holds down the cost of advertising!

I'll take $1.00 lip gloss. Guess we'll find out how good it is.

Don't feel too bad. In spite of the phony Nordstrom's claim, the "free shipping" code still worked. Any of us could have googled ELF and found out that the e-mail wasn't real. Besides, the product reviews I read this morning -- which had nothing to do with the e-mail -- said the brushes were a particularly good buy.

Bottom line: We still get new toys to play with.
