Might want to check that answer on the pilot question. Earhart flew transatlantic in 1932, sure, but not around the world, and obviously didn't take off and land in Columbus, OH.

I completely screwed up this question. The answer I wanted was Jerrie Mock in 1964, but that answer has not in the year well.
