I read about this during the holidays, but forgot to post it. I kind of thought someone else would mention it. She died on Christmas Eve 2019.
Besides her prolific Songwriters-Hall-of-Fame catalog, she has been a fixture on AXS TV's musical list shows, where her kooky personality was evident in all its glory. Watching some saved episodes tonight, I saw her again and that reminded me of her passing.

Didn't know this. I've seen her many times on The Top Ten Revealed on AXS-TV.
Thank you, Ms. Willis, for "September", which was on my All-Time Boneys list. What a great song. I even like "Boogie Wonderland", one of the few songs you could classify as disco that I don't mind at all. Of course, my affinity for Earth Wind and Fire earns them a free pass in such matters.
