Bob, the truth is that the leadership of the democrat party, aided and abetted by their operatives in the media and the federal bureaucracy, have waged 'resistance' to the duly elected president from the day he took office. He has done nothing that is impeachable.

Exactly how is that a crime. It's quite possible that Bolton himself "leaked" the contents, which he had every right to, in order to facilitate his possible testimony. And, if not, it would seem to be at worst a violation of confidentiality and nondisclosure clauses between Bolton and his publisher. I highly doubt either of them would be inclined to press the issue since they've turned his book into a guaranteed best seller now.

As usual, you are quick to label any efforts to get information to the public as lies, crimes, fake news, or whatever. What Trump did, which even many of the Republican senators admit was proven, is to use the power of the presidency for personal (political) gain. That's exactly what impeachment was intended to apply to, the abuse of power that was common in England in that era.

In the debates of the Constitution Convention during the summer of 1787, three Virginia delegates, George Mason, James Madison, and Edmund Randolph “all spoke up to defend impeachment on July 20th, after Charles Pinckney of South Carolina and Gouverneur Morris of Pennsylvania moved to strike it. “[If the president] should be re-elected, that will be sufficient proof of his innocence,” Morris argued. “[Impeachment] will render the Executive dependent on those who are to impeach.”

“Shall any man be above justice?” Mason asked. “Shall that man be above it who can commit the most extensive injustice?” A presidential candidate might bribe the electors to gain the presidency, Mason suggested. “Shall the man who has practiced corruption, and by that means procured his appointment in the first instance, be suffered to escape punishment by repeating his guilt?”

Bolton could go on any media outlet that will have him and say whatever he wants.

No matter how much you say it, Fulla and Co didn't PROVE anything, and even if they did, you do not get to throw away an election and disenfranchise millions of voters because of it.

The founding fathers were also afraid of a partisan political use of impeachment. Fulla didn't bring that up, surprisingly.
