I can't resist mentioning this "Upcoming Guests" item for "Stu's Show":
May 7 - Actor JON PROVOST ("Lassie"). Jon will talk about his autobiography, "Timmy's in the Well: The Jon Provost Story", recently released by publisher Cumberland House books, and we'll get an inside look at his hit TV series. Jon will also discuss life after Lassie, and how the show changed his family's life during the seven years he played Timmy Martin.
Timmy's in the Well--This book deserves to be worked into a SyndieBAM pop culture question, if anything does!

My sister is going to be on this show soon. I won't tell you what sister though. It could be Lucy or Lily.

Have I mentioned to y'all that we're gonna be launching the Wookus Internet Radio pretty soon?
I tell ya. The older you get the harder it is to remember whom you've mentioned what to.
Edit: There's an opening for Bob Dole here if he wants to take it.
Make that two.
Ooops. Make that three.
Well, that's enough.

And so I did. But not actually at the library.
The Friends of the Library owns its own warehouse, with about 11,000 sq. ft. of space!
And I think the day went very well. We satisfied the fire commissioner, so our occupancy limit was boosted. Fewer people were lined up at the opening, but they got in so quickly there was no waiting after the first hour and we passed last year's attendance figures before the afternoon was half over.
And can you believe 80 degrees in April? Well, I know our friends out in Minnesota and the Dakotas can't, today.

It sounds as if the Friends of the Library did an outstanding job, Marley. Congratulations.

Thanks, SC!
Of course, this is only the first of ten days in our Spring Sale. Then it's time to clear out what's left and start all over for the Fall!
I'll be cashiering again at 10 tomorrow morning, then restocking the shelves as my sections sells.

I'm sure that many people will be lining up to buy advertising.
