I'm borrowing the dark, dusty Suggestion Box forum to store a couple of the Bored lists I maintain... namely the Gusgerbils list and my list of TWR edition titles. So they're over there if anyone ever wants to look at them....
And I expect no more "Is xxxxx a gus?" questions from PSM anymore....

So that can become a Suggestions/FAQ forum.

Yeah, right!
The amazing thing is that when we ask you questions, you can usually produce an answer from your notebooks faster than we could look something up, even if the answer was available on a list.

I am sorry if I ask too many questions.
Besides answering my stupid questions keeps your streak alive.

That's OK. I am a lot more tolerant of stupid questions on the Bored than I am in real life. Believe me, I can get downright pissy when someone asks me something I think they should already know....
I can always keep my streak alive with a GSEP®. We do allow gratuitous posts around this place, don't we....
Oops! Stupid question!

What constitutes a gratuitous post? Is it like gratuitous violence?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

And why do we always edit things because of gratuitous nudity? Well, we used to, but why?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

Bix made us do it.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
