I was saddened to hear of the death of James and his family under such tragic circumstances, as he always was my favorite cousin, or uncle, or brother, or whatever he was to me, in spite of the fact that we'd never met. At first, I was angered that James hadn't even bothered to tell me that he'd gotten married, nor did he ever mention the children, but that may also have been due to the fact that he didn't actually know me. Finally, I think it's outrageous that, despite having amassed a fortune in oil servicing, he never made a will. Still, I will forgive him, because he would want that, and I know he will be happy that I have become his beneficiary. Or, he would be happy, if he had ever known I existed and we had become so close, considering.
