Hello Murphy

My name is Mr Danson make a Banker with one of the leading banks here in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire West Africa; I am the personal accounts manager to Mr. James Murphy, who used to be a contractor with an oil servicing company based here in Cote Ivoire. My client, his wife, and their three children were involved in the ill fated Kenya Airways crash in the coasts of Abidjan in January 2000 in which all passengers on board died. Since then I have made several inquiries to locate any of my clients extended relatives but has been unsuccessful. I decided to trace his last name over the internet, to see if I could locate any member of his family hence I contacted you.

Of particular interest is this large deposit with our bank here, where the deceased has an account valued at about ($15 million US dollars) They have issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or the bank will declare the account unserviceable
And thereby send the funds to the government treasury. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over last 5 years now, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last names, so that the proceeds of this account valued at can be paid to you and then you and I can share the money.

All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing this deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under all legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. If you can handle this with me, reach me by sending the following informations now through this email account:

1. Your Name
2. Postal Address
3. Date of Birth
4. Telephone and fax numbers
5. Profession with position

Thanking you for your anticipated cooperation.
Sincerely yours
Mr Danson make
I was saddened to hear of the death of James and his family under such tragic circumstances, as he always was my favorite cousin, or uncle, or brother, or whatever he was to me, in spite of the fact that we'd never met. At first, I was angered that James hadn't even bothered to tell me that he'd gotten married, nor did he ever mention the children, but that may also have been due to the fact that he didn't actually know me. Finally, I think it's outrageous that, despite having amassed a fortune in oil servicing, he never made a will. Still, I will forgive him, because he would want that, and I know he will be happy that I have become his beneficiary. Or, he would be happy, if he had ever known I existed and we had become so close, considering.

Congratulations!

Have you started contemplating what you will do with all of this money?

I don't know why he is asking for your name, because he clearly states in the letter that you share a name with James.

I thought you had to buy the wine first, then the unclasping begins, er, the earrings go on.

Don't forget to get us some pie! I'll have the Key Lime, with maybe just a small slice of the Mojito Pie.

Mr Danson make was awfully lucky to find you. Murphy is such a rare name to find on the internet! (Oh, and of the 30,400,000 Google hits, I see Murphy Oil Corp. is #4. I bet that was Cousin/Uncle/Brother Jim's!)

What is this "Mr Danson make a Banker"? Is that international profanity? Crossing innernets with bad stuffs? Or is he constructing a banker or soon to be a banker?
And what if you aren't actually anticipating cooperating? What if you're harboring suspicions? Will he be unmade? Willl he have to make a Street Sweeper? Or a shaman herder?

This is all very distressing.

Except for the emerald earrings part.
Well, then
