Two glasses of wine

#1 Post by kayrharris » Wed Apr 23, 2008 10:56 pm

is pretty much my limit. I have a new friend who invites me to join her at her boyfriend's restaurant for a glass of wine once or twice a week. I never drink more than 2 glasses. I don't think I could drive home if I had more.(I only live 5 minutes from the place). I don't drink alcohol much at all and it doesn't take much to affect me.

I've had red wine twice now without a resulting migraine. I'm hoping to continue with that pattern.

As they say, practice makes perfect. Your capacity is still ahead of mine, though. My earlobes and my upper lip start to go numb after 1-1/2 glasses of anything.

I don't like drinking more than two glasses of anything if I am out and about. I get silly.

I am also a cheap date.

If I am responsible for making dinner for guests, I can not and do not have wine with the snacks before, If I did, there would be no dinner.

My nose and ears turn red - they have yet to go numb.

Well if your ears go numb you can always have them stapled with emerald earrings. Heck, as long as your nose is numb, have it pierced too.

I've put those on my eBay watch-list, Ducks. Thanks. If I need to schedule an ear-piercing appointment, I will let you know.
