Boob story

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Tue Apr 23, 2019 8:24 am

Yes, yes I am one. Cast aspersions at will. Talkin to you Billy B...
It's a GOOD boob story.
Had bc in 2002, lumpectomy, radiation, blah blah.Atypical lobular hyperplasia in 2005, was okay. Have had only screening mammos for last several yrs. Been 17!
So, for last 8 months or so have had searing, icy hot poker sticking pain in the surgical scar site. It would wake me up. Doc and I thought it's from lifting grandbabes for 4 years. Cool.
So, went in for annual screening mammo and they wouldn't do it due to pain being listed. Scheduled diagnostic mammo and ultrasound whichI had yesterday.
My mind has been wound tighter than a run over slinky for 2 weeks. What if what if what if...

It is all good. Nada. Yaysers!
Bless Memorial Hermann imaging peeps and thank you God.
Well, then

Yay for great news! Love to hear it.

There are some threads even Billy Bored won't touch.

Excellent news! So it's just scar tissue being bitchy?

Yep. I had googled all sortsa shit which is stupid...don't. But, it could be nerve endings changing, scar rearrangement. Radiologist said muscles etc.
Also, babes are waay heavier now. They grow. It's a good thing.

This is two stories with great news -- the one with the continuation of your personal boobage arrangement, and the one that provides for the absence of Billy Boob.

Was that a typo? You decide.

I am happy to read this good boob story. An additional plus is that THIS particular good boob story doesn't require me to delete my browser history.

Thanks for the great ending!

Mom had lumpectomy and radiation a few years back - I will pass along that the scar may be pinchy down the road.

Yes. I've had charley horse spasms intermittently thru the years, occasional pain. But this was searing icy hot and weird. Don't do any whatever and jerk weighlifting...

I am having massage therapy once a month too. Seems to help with the scar tissue not adhering to stuff.

Way back I had a massage and it killed me in that area. Probably wrong kind. May try again.
