Earth Day turned out to be rather green for me. They had some vendor displays set up in the lobby of our office building at lunchtime, so first I got a whole bunch of environmentally correct tissues (I'm not sure what the difference is between them and regular tissues except that in the store they inevitably cost a lot more). Since the woman at the tissue display was getting to leave she encouraged me to take all the sample boxes I wanted, and as you can guess I didn't need much encouragement.
But it gets even greener from there. As I was getting ready to leave, I dropped the ticket in the bowl for door prizes and I won a $50 gift card (one of the grand prizes). And it's not a gift card from one of those back to nature stores but a good old Amex gift card.
So, I hope everyone else had a happy Earth Day as well.

You should go buy a tank of gas and a hamburger.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson
War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
