They may get an inch overnight. Slip and slide time. :(

It's more like a snow dud. Very little rain and a dusting of snow in scattered locations (not here). I think they panicked because of the Super Bowl and didn't want the bad press of any type of weather traffic mess during Super Bowl week. The Governor closed all state offices today around 2:00 yesterday afternoon, which means I got the day off as well.

Those huge amounts of snow in Vandal's pic above is more than enough to drive Knoxvillians to their nearest Kroger to stock up on milk, eggs, bread and beer.

We probably got abut 2" of snowfall but it was melting as it came down and never accumulated more than 3/4". Now that the temps are finally dropping the little bit of snow left on the grass will probably stay for a couple of days but all roads are clear.

I wish downtown Atlanta would get what Chicago is getting.
