Who knows. Upon the discovery of an angry public, Yale's public relations office put out a press release saying that it was a hoax, yada, yada. The young woman, when contacted by reporters directly, seemed to say "Yeah, but...," and parse her responses carefully. Today, Yale has rapped the knuckles of the student's faculty advisors for letting her select this particular topic for her art project. The only thing for sure is that the so-called artist succeeded in provoking disgust, outrage, and personal publicity. [sarcasm]Goodie for her. [/sarcasm]

I think it's a hoax, but that doesn't make the young woman any less repulsive.
