RIP Aunt Lucy

RIP Aunt Lucy
Aunt Lucy, my godmother and TLAF's youngest sister, passed away yesterday, just short of her 91st birthday. This leaves just my Uncle Lou of the nine Ferrante kids. He is the baby at 80.
They were always close - Aunt Lucy was born right after Mom's 10th birthday - she was TLAF's birthday present that year.
Mom was protective of Lucy. She made sure Lucy got shoe skates when she was 13, so she could ride the 60 trolley to the Carmen Roller Rink and skate with the rest of the kids.
Later, when the rest of my aunts were all married and mom was still single, she and Lucy would go to dances together.
She had four wonderful kids, who have great spouses, beautiful kids and grandkids. Aunt Lucy -- one of the sweetest, dearest, most positive people I ever knew -- was so blessed. And she blessed us in return.
