The Last Greyhound

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Thu Aug 30, 2018 7:14 pm

Rusty, the handsome reddish and white greyhound who was Annie's best buddy for years, died today. He was 16-1/2, which is ancient for a sighthound of his size.

Annie always wanted him to play the title role in her opera, Guinefort. Rehearsals begin tonight near the rainbow bridge.

I'm sure Dawson will be in the audience, awaiting the previews.

Very sad for you Judy, but very happy for Annie, who now has her lead. I envision a joyous and wonderfully organized rehearsal process underway.

I'm sorry for you but happy for Annie, and Rusty has he has his youthful body back and can do all the fancy footwork required of him.

16 1/2 is pretty remarkable for a doggie of any age, but especially for one of Rusty's size. I'm glad I got to meet him. Hugs.
