How ya doing on your health fitness stuff?

Expound.

For me it is mixed.

The good news was that I went to get a mammogram done last week, and it was all good.

The bad is that I think I have some sort of nerve issue in my right leg. It is bothering me when I sit or when I drive. It feels tingly and numb at times. I think I am going to visit a doc about it.

Oh, and I am worried about the Presidential Challenge Log Thingy.

They promoted a new kickoff of it in March. And added some new features.

And of course, now I can never get the admin function to work and sometimes can't even log my personal points. I get the Timeout Expired message.

I am golfing again. I have taken on a project which includes much practice, lessons and play. I am excited.

I am also going to track how my purposeful exercise (elliptical, running, weights, push-ups, etc) affect my play. Like am I tired at the end of the round after exercising in the morning and not tired if I done. Do my arms give out early in the round if I have done upper body weight work or not?

I am going to have laughter and pride around golf!

Right in the middle. Good day/bad day type of week. Good in that weather is fine to walk 18 holes, bad in not enough days at the gym.

Portion control, same thing, good one day, bad the next.

A fair week--more than fair with the weather, which is actually supposed to reach 80 degrees today. Unlocking really can have Spring-like weather...sometimes even a taste of Summer! 8)

My weight nudged down a bit. Today's weight = 192.2. Moving average = 194.0.

The bad news: the elliptical is still broken. Exercise level way down as a result. Also doesn't help that the re-injured toe is still bothering me. I suspect arthritis at this point.

The good news: weight is maintaining even without the exercise.

The work to be done: do some walking or other form of exercise till the elliptical is fixed. Keep down the eating and noshing. Try to keep the stress level down to a dull roar. Just keep breathing.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Bix, your leg thing might be sciatica, which I had for years in my early 20s. They can diagnose it easily if that's what it is, and give you stretches.

I signed up for a 5K run/walk in a couple of weeks, and have gotten in some decent walking this week.

I'm doing great. :)

Today is my 99th day without a cigarette. (w00t!)

Weight is still good- I gained a couple of pounds over the last few weeks but I've been walking and running amok a good deal, so I think it's muscle and not crap. I am cool with this. I traded in my size 10's for an 8, which makes me super happy.

And I bought my Coach bag with my slush fund money.

This is the closest pic I could find online, although mine is black and not suede, but it's the same one.

Thanks! :)

I have no idea how many points that would be. I think they need categories for "carousing" and "instigating mayhem". I know I burned a heck of a lot of calories at karaoke the other night. ;)

I had a very good week til the flu bug hit. The nurse gave me a pedometer and suggested that I put in 10,000 steps a day. I put in 6500 around the library and then did the rest in a walk around the park to watch my son pitch. Jumping up and down at the game probably added another 200.

I like the idea of rewarding yourself with stuff from the money saved.
