We finally learned just what it takes to get Republicans to enact a tax increase. Overriding Governor Sam Brownback's veto, the Kansas Legislature adopted a tax increase measure to close a sizeable budget gap created by the Brownback tax cuts.
States are laboratories of democracy. Kansas experimented with supply-side economics fueled by tax cuts. The experiment failed. Miserably.
In the meantime, California, which voted to increase taxes a few years ago, sees its economy humming along nicely. I'm sure that our active leadership in reduced-carbon energy generation will provide a further boost. --Bob

Last night in the Sixth District debate, they asked each candidate one thing that the would not compromise on. Handel said cutting taxes. Ossoff said voting rights.Bob78164 wrote: Kansas experimented with supply-side economics fueled by tax cuts. The experiment failed. Miserably.
