This came out of the blue. Singer and songwriter Chris Cornell, writer of LS regular "Black Hole Sun" and member, at various times, of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, died yesterday after performing at a Soundgarden concert in Detroit. He died way too young, at 52. I understand he had been clean & sober for well over a decade.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell
Soundgarden played in Atlanta about two weeks ago. This city is becoming downright unhealthy for musicians. Bruce Hampton died onstage, and one of Prince's last concerts was here in Atlanta as well.
RIP.
RIP.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell
Bummer. I know he had worked through a lot of depression in his youth, but didn't know he was still having problems with it. A lot of people would love to have his life, but that disease is equal-opportunity.Vandal wrote:-- The Associated PressMedical examiner determines Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell committed suicide by hanging in Detroit
