It could happen.

Looks like best bracket at CasaSprots (not entered in this pool) will finish fourth -- out of the money. :(

I knew that first place standing was too good to be true. Saturday obliterated me.

If Memphis wins, Ace takes the pool.

If Kansas wins, Jim362 moves into 1st.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Well, I'm looking for the silver lining. Maybe UNC losing Saturday will result in Psycho T coming back for his Senior year.

Maybe I should have come over here, too, and tried my luck. In one of the most laughable outcomes I could imagine, if KU wins, I win our office pool. I did no research whatever, and filled out the entire bracket in five minutes to force a KU-Texas rematch in the finals. I have to chuckle at this. I must have been one of the few to have KU far into the tournament, or beating UNC.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Good luck Ace - break a leg!

Rock chalk, Jayhawk!

That game was so exciting I had to close my eyes and pretend I didn't care. I think I fooled my mom.

Congratulations to Mr. Jim for winning the bracket and to Mr. Astro and Mr. Fish, who also beat me. I only got 4th, but I'm kind of pleased with that, considering it's the first time I ever picked basketball teams (and I didn't know that Memphis was as good as they were.)

I can't wait until next year.

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have only come in for a tie at sixth but who cares, what I really wanted happened.

I am very proud of the Big 12 this year, we have a number of really good teams in this league.

I don't think OU has enough dump trucks of money to lure Self away, rumor around here is that we'll make sure we have more dump trucks. When Roy left, I was p.o.ed big time, five years later, I'm glad it happened. I like Self's style of coaching much better and in my opinion he is a better coach.

As far as the uncalled fouls, when I heard Hightower was reffing, my heart fell to my stomach, I always thought he hated KU and was most unfair in his calls against us. I have to say that last night I did not feel this way.

It's not OU that wants to lure Self away. Oklahoma State is the culprit. Different school.

Oh, I am so very Sorry with a capital S Miss OU! lol I do know the difference between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the University of Oklahoma Sooners. My fingers just don't. Plus it was very early this a.m. when I typed that and the first few sips of caffine at not yet kicked in.

Seems 5:30 a.m. and a few minutes after dinner and before kitchen cleanup is the only time I have to visit the board anymore.

Anita, I didn't mean to offend you, but if I did, I'm sorry. I know you know the difference between OU and OSU, but I sometimes get the impression that's not necessarily true for many people in other parts of the country.

Of course, if OSU is going to have unlimited access to T. Boone Picken's deep pockets, some folks might start wishing the two schools were the same university.
