In these lazier years of throwing together LSWE games, I've usually dedicated a game to songs that made it up to a certain number on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and this year I've decided to cut loose like a deuce and honor those songs that just missed out on that elusive #1 fame. The following songs all peaked at #2 on the US pop charts, and since I haven't offered a lot of chances at extra points beyond the standard 31 per game yet, I've thrown in a few more bonus songs for you all to miss!

Although I could've come up with several #2's, including one of the FIVE singles by CCR that peaked at #2..last I knew, they still held the record for most #2's without ever hitting #1..Or how about Blood, Sweat & Tears, who peaked at #2 with all 3 of their singles from the Blood, Sweat & Tears album? In these lazier years of throwing together LSWE games, I've usually dedicated a game to songs that made it up to a certain number on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and this year I've decided to cut loose like a deuce and honor those songs that just missed out on that elusive #1 fame.
