We started this ride around Memorial Day. Today we finish it. Thanks to all who have followed along, fully or partially.

Well, here it is. Of all the songs released in the days and years since I was born, this is my absolute favorite. Words are inadequate to describe the
beauty of Brian Wilson's (and lyricist Tony Asher's) creation. Personally, it perfectly describes my feelings for my wife..I may not ALWAYS love you,
but I will as long as there are stars in the sky. In other words, it's a pretty good bet that I WILL. If you should ever leave me, I won't shrivel up and die, but there wouldn't be much left in the world to provide any pleasure. Simple yet profound in describing a lasting love...God only knows what life would've been like had you not come into it. Carl
Wilson's lead vocal on this is beyond compare, and of course the arrangement of the harmonies is impeccable as usual. In my opinion, the most beautiful
love song ever written..heck, the song IS love, wrapped up in a (less than) 3-minute package.

Very nice.

The movie Love, Actually closes with this song in a beautiful way (shots of all kinds of people reuniting at Heathrow).

I saw Love & Mercy, the Brian Wilson docudrama just two days ago.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your list and have learned a lot about music I might never have heard before. My itunes library expanded at roughly the same rate as your postings. Thank-you very much.

Thank you all for your kind words. Glad there was some enjoyment to be found. I had fun putting it together, even though while unveiling the music I found myself wondering "what was I thinking?" on several occasions!

The Boneys Committee has begun the task of putting together the list of 2016 favorites. Perhaps it's because these songs can't possibly stack up against the all-time favorites list we just finished, but it's been difficult so far finding list worthy tunes. Still early in the process, though. Stay "tuned".
