Merry Music to Ho-Ho-Ho By

Today I'm just gonna post some Christmas tunes, ones that you don't often/never hear on the radio. Let's face it, if you wanna hear Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas", heck, even tunes I love with all my heart like John & Yoko's "Happy Xmas" or Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Sarajevo/Christmas Eve", etc., you don't have to look very far to find them. So in the interests of variety, I'll offer up some holiday music alternatives. In no particular order (I only "count 'em down on weekdays lol).

This is an achingly sweet melodic gem from the fella whose voice you hear singing the title song from the movie "That Thing You Do!".

Most of you know this song by the originators (The Pretenders). While that version is still superior, I love the harmonies this group applies to their take on the song..

I love the whole album of holiday songs good ol' JT put out a couple of years ago. I've heard tracks from it played on mainstream outlets, but not this song...probably because its not a "standard". But it's my favorite on the album.

OK, it's time for the cornball/sentimental mush portion of our show...we always played this album when I was a kid..Sure it's schmaltzy, but I love it, and oh does it take me back...

Another "old-fashioned" sounding tune here..so pretty..

Another pretty one..

I've got more...
