58. WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS-THE BEATLES (1968)
Album: The Beatles AKA The White Album
Four sides of Beatle tunes on the album, and the highlight, for me anyway, of the whole blessed thing was written not by John,
not by Paul, but by George! Yup, he had written some good songs before, but with this one, he served notice that there was a THIRD
extremely talented songwriter in the group. Add Eric Clapton's perfect guitar solo, and you've got one of the Fab Four's very best
works. Audio only link, no You Tube video. Click on the arrow in the center of the album icon.

57. LONG MAY YOU RUN-THE STILLS/YOUNG BAND (1976)
Album: Long May You Run
There's not much else on the album (which started life as a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young project but wound up with just Stephen and
Neil) that I have any use for, but I absolutely love this sentimental ode to Young's first car. It can also serve as a wish for an
old friend if you spin it just right.
