They're on their way to getting the ultimate bits of luck. Pat Sajak, a native Chicagoan, joked on Wheel about the World Series being at Wrigley Field when one of the bonus prizes was a sports tickets package, and that was in 1989.

I look at it two ways.
1)If the cubs hold true to form and win World Series Titles at their current pace, they'll reach 11 (number the Cardinals currently have) in the year 2432.
2)If the Cardinals keep their current pace, by the year 2432, we'll have 55 titles.
3) If the cubs do win this year, they open the season here in St. Louis. I'll get $500+ for tickets I'll pay about $20 each for.
