I had thought that my stepmother's uncle was part owner of the team. Turns out it was her grandfather who owned them. Just looked him up. Guess he was a lot less interesting than the guy he sold the team to, Bill Veeck. His write up was a lot more colorful!
She didn't like baseball but as a young girl had to go to the games on Sundays and sit with the family.
