64. MAKING MOVIES-DIRE STRAITS (1980)
Their most successful album, "Brothers In Arms", would come five years later and while I like that album, I LOVE this one.
Rockers like "Solid Rock" and "Expresso Love" mix in with well-crafted numbers like "Skateaway" and "Tunnel of Love"...and
then there's the exquisite "Romeo & Juliet", which I think is the best thing Mark Knopfler has ever written..just beautiful.

This is such a wonderful album. Yes, Brothers in Arms got more love thanks to MTV, but this one is better.
