The Boney 500: Album #72

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Thu Sep 15, 2016 9:30 am

Classic Rock is on today's album menu:

72. HOUSES OF THE HOLY-LED ZEPPELIN (1973)

Their most consistently enjoyable album for me, although other ones have had more iconic and influential tracks. It's
just a well paced variety of moods and I like all of the tracks except "The Crunge".

This one has fewer lows than other Zep albums.

The title track is the name of their next album.

Huh?!
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

My mistake.

I meant to say the opening track (The Song Remains the Same) but even that's not right.

Physical Graffitti is next, then The Song Remains the Same.

Hey, the 70s were good to me.

Also, the title of this ALBUM is the title of a SONG on the next ALBUM (Physical Graffitti).

I can just envision some record executive suit reading the song lists and album titles and going "This isn't how it works, this isn't right at all!"
