At first I thought they were speaking about umlauts, but then I realized that the nation would have consecutive "i"s and "j"s. So it has to be Fiji.

What a terrible question (or, as Marley would term it, a WWOQ)! I'd burn all my lifelines and probably end up walking away.

2K: Original title has bad "flow", so is hard to believe. But they thought Redford was their new star, I guess.

30K: Not Tina Fey. Use new "jump Q", if this is how it works.

Oops; had read 50/50 going away tbis year, but apparently not. If not allowed a jump here, throw +1 at it.

50K: Didn't know this is why sunflower used as symbol, but have seen it.

They might as well ask "What is the 19th digit of significance in the value of Pi?" Then I'd have to ask, "When rounded to the 19th significant digit or the value of the digit when not rounded at all?". And I still wouldn't know. Well, I do now that I've looked it up, but not 5 minutes ago.

I would have had all my lifelines left for the 50K question, and would have used 50/50 for that because I was thinking it was seaweed.

Think about it though; even if it were true (that it absorbed radioactivity) would you use seaweed or even a beet as a symbol?

Ted Cruz is the answer that feels right to me, but I would probably +1 for assurance.

I think sunflowers turn to face the sun (or is that a myth?) Between that and the hippie movement loving their "flower power", sunflower has to be it.
