The Boney 500: Songs 154 and 153

The Boneys make strange bedfellows...

154. SUPERNAUT-BLACK SABBATH (1972)
Album: Volume 4

Like most long-haired "yutes" my age back then, I loved Sabbath. The dynamite riff on this one makes it the most
enduring of my favorites by Ozzy and company.

153. IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT-GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS (1964 U.K. 1965 U.S.)
Album: Ferry Cross The Mersey

Loved most everything to do with the British Invasion. Well, maybe not so much the movie ("Ferry Cross The Mersey")
that this came from, it was pretty dull...but the music, yeah the music I loved. This moves along at a nice pace
and is my favorite by the group.

I've walked out on very few movies in my life, but Ferry Cross the Mersey was one of 'em.

It was pretty bad. So was the Dave Clark Five's movie, Herman's Hermits' movies, etc. Which made the brilliance of "A Hard Days' Night" stand out even more...
