It took seven years, but today, 'Millionaire: Hot Seat', the Australian spinoff of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire', had its first $1,000,000 winner after over 1,300 episodes. Edwin Daly from Adelaide, answered the final ten questions in a row and won the top prize. He’s just the third person to win $1,000,000 in the entire Australian history of 'Millionaire', dating back to 1999.

And if we think the promo spoilers are bad in the US, Australia's promos not only flat-out said there would be a million dollar winner on Monday, they showed who would win it as well.
