Median means 1/2 the people take more time and 1/2 the people take less time?

or

Median means that half the time for all was less than that time and half the time for all was more than that time?

How does that work?

Median means half take more time, and half take less. One hopes the two halves aren't in the same couple (coupling?).

Median means half take more time, and half take less. One hopes the two halves aren't in the same couple (coupling?).

So, if the 1,500 couples had sex 78,000 times in 2005, 39,000 times it lasted longer than 7.3 minutes and 39,000 times it lasted longer than 7.3 minutes.
