Happy Birthday LB13!
I didn't see a thread started so I thought I would!
Hope it isn't too hot for you today. Saw some clouds the other day that I thought you would find interesting.

Happy Birthday LB!
Thanks for all you do to keep us entertained, amused, bored-historically informed, and lyrically trivialized.

I'm going to have to go back and look, but I'm thinking my birthday thread has been started by a different person every year we've been on this Bored...
Thank you! By mid July, we're more than used to heat like this...

This Squirrel wishes you a Happy Birthday (and asks if you have some corn or peanuts to share)

Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Re: Happy Birthday LB13!
Thanks everyone!
The day was going fine AND dandy until about 3:45 when the big line of storms came in. I just got back from six and a half hours in the dark... and I didn't even take the worst of it.
