The Boney 500: Songs 290-288

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 10:05 am

3 more songs for the list today...

290. IF YOU CAN'T ROCK ME-THE ROLLING STONES (1974)
ALBUM: It's Only Rock 'n Roll

Loose, sloppy, and strutting rock and roll as only the Stones can pull off so masterfully.

289. I WILL-THE BEATLES (1968)
ALBUM: The Beatles (aka The White Album)

So sweet and simple..a smile in musical form. It's only fault is its brevity..I'm always left wanting
it to go on a little longer..

288. LONELY WIND-KANSAS (1974)
ALBUM: Kansas

Outstanding dramatic ballad..the violin adds a nice flavor. You can envision the cigarette lighters being held up
in the air. Well, these days it would probably be more like the camera phones.

I loved "I will" when I was a student. Still do. I usta write the entire song in my notebooks. I don't do that anymore.
