-in my campaign. Not even kidding. I'm now also running against Richard Nixon.

Richard Nixon was my orthopedic surgeon that replaced both my hips. He's a damn fine surgeon.

Not sure how that will translate to District Court Clerk, but he may have a leg up on you. Ba-da-bum!

LOL! Glad that worked out for you. The 'experience' my opponent has is as a process server.

I googled it so I could read about it, but the newest newspaper article I could find is dated Jan. 14. Just drown them with your experience.

Yeah, we are a county race, so pretty far down the ticket in a presidential election year, unfortunately. As we are all running as (R), this will be decided in the primary, so things will heat up a little bit as we get closer to June 7. I suspect there will be some activity in the local Gazette in the coming weeks. My main opponent is the incumbent; I don't imagine Mr. Nixon will be much of a factor. The incumbent has virtually no support among the county bar and the 6 district court judges, but getting the word out to people who don't routinely need to use the clerk's office will be key.

Sounds like you need a "Make Billings Great Again" cap. I'll talk to my Creative Department. :)

Yeah, I know its actually Yellowstone County, but that might confuse on a national level and you don't want any of those Sanders idiots crashing your rallies.

A bit of activity of late. I really need to send my opponent a "thank you" fruit basket. Every time she opens her mouth or her laptop, I get another stack of donation envelopes in my PO box.

Good grief, I'm a thousand miles away, and I'm fighting an impulse to send a check. Promise me you won't hire her as an assistant after you get the job!

Thanks for the update.

I enjoy a reasonable degree of certainty that won't be happening.
