A new definition of irony
Someone was building a Noah's Ark theme park in Kentucky, apparently because God told him to. It was just destroyed by a flood, leaving the founder financially devastated (not to mention confused). The park recently announced that it would only be hiring Christians to work there. No word yet from God (or his press secretary, Ted Cruz) whether this policy had anything to do with the flood. --Bob

Are you intentionally trolling us, or did you not realize this "article" was an attempt at humor?Bob78164 wrote:Someone was building a Noah's Ark theme park in Kentucky, apparently because God told him to. I couldn't (still can't) tell that it's a parody site. I'm not familiar with it. --BobTheConfessor wrote:Are you intentionally trolling us, or did you not realize this "article" was an attempt at humor?Bob78164 wrote:Someone was building a Noah's Ark theme park in Kentucky, apparently because God told him to. I'm not either, but it wasn't hard to Google it and find no other news sources reporting it. And you can be sure they would. This Noah's Ark park is being heavily subsidized with Kentucky taxpayers' money. It is scheduled to open this summer.Bob78164 wrote:I couldn't (still can't) tell that it's a parody site. He wanted so bad for it to be true, that someone loses their life savings because of their Christian beliefs. Because, you know, he is all about love, not hate.TheConfessor wrote: I'm not either, but it wasn't hard to Google it and find no other news sources reporting it. And you can be sure they would. Now you've gone and ruined his gloating pleasure.

It's a fake, and a rather obvious one at that. If you go to the actual site where the "story" originated, and click on ANY of the other "stories," it would be obvious to almost anyone.
Except possibly for the acquaintance of mine who's still posting the "Obama has cancelled the National Day of Prayer" canard.

So Ted Cruz didn't actually punch Donald Trump in the nose? Damn. I thought for a minute he'd finally done something to justify his existence. --Bobmrkelley23 wrote:It's a fake, and a rather obvious one at that.
