Why would Perry Mason inspire someone to be a prosecutor? He was a defense attorney.

Maybe she was inspired by the prosecutor on the show, Hamilton Burger. He was like the Washington Generals to Mason's Harlem Globetrotters.

If you're avoiding the movie because you don't approve of Ben Stein, you should know that he has a very small part portraying a laughably boring teacher. So feel free to watch the movie and laugh at Ben Stein, while appearing to laugh at the character.

The rest of the movie is about three teenagers who skip school one day and have an incredibly good time.

So, uhhhh, you can continue to avoid the movie if you don't approve of that.

I'd bet there are several other scenes that ghost would not like at all.

I'm avoiding the movie not because of BS at all (considering where the Repubs are going these days he's almost an honorary leftie) but because I've seen previews that make me gag. I hate coming-of-age movies when the perspective is from obnoxious male teen.

Casey was not only in my green room group, but we were in the on-deck room together. What we were treated to in the on-deck room, which unfortunately the audience was not, was an impromptu rap performance from Casey's mother. She's got rhymes!
