538 Riddle - 4/8/16

The answer people came up with last week, 2 & 8 was correct.

Here's this week's riddle. It's a short one:

Complete this series:

10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 23, 30, 33, …

The title of the riddle is "A Napoleonic Puzzle." I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the solution.

I figured it out! The next element in the series is 120. The one after that would give it away.

By the way, even knowing the answer, I have no idea why it's called "A Napoleonic Puzzle".

I got it... but I didn't get it within a minute. Took me overnight to think about it. This would have made a great Round 2 question in my Ultimate QoD Spring Challenge from a couple of years ago.

If anybody wants the true dead giveaway hint: the sequence could also begin with the number F and then go 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 23, 30, 33, 120, 1111. (Take special note that I referred to "F" as a number.)
